Check out this video and article from Channel 4. This is a story I’ve been wanting to post about for a few weeks. A previously undisturbed medieval skeleton with gold crozier and pointy ring has been discovered at Furness Abbey.

The Daily Mail also had this slightly sensational piece, where we learn that the man was likely a bit—or more than a bit—chubby. He was buried with his arms at his sides; considerable girth may have prevented him from having his arms crossed on his chest.
